Couple’s cannot submit themselves; others have to either submit either a written submission, or a video submission for a deserving couple (A fiancé may submit their partners story from their perspective. But no 1st person point of view submissions are allowed).
We are looking for couple’s with amazing stories of strength and love. The stories we want are of couple’s battling life threatening diseases, first responders, veterans, living with disabilities, overcoming obstacles, any inspiring story of hope.
The submissions will be narrowed down to the top ten submissions, at which point the vendor board will ultimately narrow it down to three finalists and then the celebrity judges will vote for the winner.
We will launch the contest this year on Monday, December 5th.
All submissions will be due by February 1st and the winner will be announced by February 14th.
The wedding will take place on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
We are asking vendors to donate their services to this project.
Vendors like florists and caterers will team up to provide the service to minimize the amount of actual cost for each vendor. (Meadows will contribute $2,500 to help offset these actual costs for vendors.)
We are choosing from some of the best vendors in the Southeast, there is absolutely no obligation to participate!
We are giving away the venue for the wedding day, the rehearsal dinner space (if needed), the lodging, and also putting $2,500 toward the catering/florals. The total we are personally giving away will range somewhere between $12,000 and $20,000.
The only reason we are telling you this is because we want each of you to know how serious we are about this project and to know we would never ask more out of others than what we are willing to give ourselves.
By submitting the above form, you are agreeing that you are able and willing to donate your services for the 2023 Give Love wedding (date to be determined).
Understand that just because you submitting your name now does not mean you’ll be selected to be a part of the Give Love 2023 wedding. We will do our best to work in as many vendors as possible but ultimately the winning couple will have the final choice of their preferred vendors.
