Last but certainly not least. Meadows' staff, our team rocks and they help ensure the day is everything you dreamed it would be.
We love weddings and we want you to have a unique experience. That's why when it comes down the aisle, no two Meadows Weddings are alike! We also don't offer wedding packages that seem like they came from an assembly line. At our place (where creativity is king) this would be boring as heck; plus what fun is life without originality? When a venue starts offering all inclusive options, things start getting more and more and more and more and more similar. Same caterer? Same photographer? Same florals?
...you get the picture!
This isn't us, and even though we are more than happy to make recommendations, we want your special day to be your dream, not a boxed lunch.
All of that being said, what we refer to as packages are multi-day rentals, or rehearsal & wedding day rentals. Multi-day options have several determining factors and therefore are best custom quoted, however to give a better idea they are simply the price of each individual day added together with a slight discount, and the discount grows as the number of days goes up as well. Want two days it's roughly the price of both days with a 10% discount, three days 15% discount, and climbs from there. Heck, you can book an entire week if you want to.
The biggest factor that affects pricing is the time of year. The North Georgia Mountains are in peak demand during leaf season in the fall, and thus, the pricing reflects this, whereas late July or early August might serve up a more wallet-friendly price if you're looking to go that route. Some months even fluctuate within themselves. Things even change within a month: October's last two weeks plus November's first couple of weeks have our highest quotes of the year due to the ideal Autumn weather they typically provide... just something else worth considering when planning your wedding.

One of Meadows' team members will be in touch soon! We receive hundreds of emails weekly; our team does all correspondence in-house. You should expect a response from us within 24 - 48 hours during the workweek. Still, if you email us over weekends, it may take longer than usual to hear back from one of your messages because there are always lots of events (usually weddings) going on at this time!
Fees
Are there any fees not included in the quote?
Yes, there are 2, no 3, errr.... make it 2.5.
Let us explain:
1. We require all of our events to take out event insurance for their specific event. We use a company called Nuptial Risk that specializes in event insurance, specifically weddings.Yes, we carry tons of all kinds of insurance for Meadows, but after with discussing it with many lawyers, advisors and insurance experts we believe the best way to protect our clients and ourselves is by making this a requirement for each wedding that books with us.This policy usually runs a few hundred dollars and must be signed and paid by the client to go into effect. For those reasons everything pertaining to this policy goes directly through Nuptial Risk rather than through Meadows.
2. We require every event, especially weddings to pay a cleaning fee based on the number of people attending the wedding. The cleaning company we partner with charges $1.50 per person with a 100 person minimum and a 300 person maximum. So basically your wedding cleaning fee would range from $150 to $450 depending on the number of people at the wedding.
2.5 - 3. Whatever you want to call it. We can't really call it a fee because it's optional. We add a 3% charge to every contract to cover the credit/debit card fees, if the client pays the balance in full without using a credit or debit card then we remove the fee from the balance owed.
We also require a $500 Damage Deposit. We are telling you so there's no confusion. This is simply a check or cash provided to Meadows the morning of the event and then returned at the end of the night as long as nothing is damaged or rules broken that would result in the forfeiting of the damage deposit. We don't consider this a fee because we nearly never are forced to keep a damage deposit and in full transparency we don't want to have to keep it because that would imply we now have an unwanted situation to deal with.
Last but certainly not least, Meadows at Mossy Creek recommends all clients to purchase wedding insurance to cover the actual costs of your wedding in the case of your wedding needing to be canceled, postponed, rescheduled, etc.
The amount purchased if up to the client. This is not a requirement by Meadows, but because all payments are non-refundable we highly recommend this extra protection. This is obviously completely optional and therefore not a fee, however hope you take this into consideration regardless of where you book with us or somewhere else. If you choose to not book with Meadows you especially don't double down on your mistake.
